Store Intelligence Inc was founded in May 2020.

Our leadership team have broad and deep experience in the retail industry, corporate finance, cloud technologies and systems engineering and bring together a unique set of skills to support our global retail industry customers.

Zachary Abrams, Founder, Executive Chairman

Zach Abrams has over 20 years of experience in corporate strategy, mergers & acquisitions and financial management. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Stratim Capital, a private equity firm focused on acquiring direct equity interests in the secondary market with over  $200 million in assets under management. He leads the firm’s due diligence and execution efforts. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Rio SEO, which was merged with Binary Fountain, and CFO of Applied Financial Technology, a SaaS provider of mortgage analytics software that was sold to Fidelity Information Services.

Prior to Stratim Capital, Mr Abrams was Vice President of Corporate and Business Development at SonicWALL, Inc, a publicly traded provider of network security solutions. In this capacity, he led the company’s OEM and licensing division as well as managing the corporate development group and served on the Operating Committee.

Mr Abrams previously was a Vice President in Investment Banking focused on mergers & acquisitions in the technology industry. Prior to his investment banking experiences, Mr. Abrams was with General Electric, where he completed the Financial Management Program and served on the Corporate Audit Staff at GE and GE Capital.

Mr Abrams has a Master of Business Administration, The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelors of Economics, Colby College.

Rob Crane, Founder, President and Chief Revenue Officer

Rob Crane serves as President and Chief Revenue Officer for Store Intelligence, he has responsibility for Sales, Marketing, Product and Solution Strategy and is also a board member of Store Intelligence.

Rob has a long and impressive track record of delivering growth for large, medium sized and growth phase technology companies. In addition to leading significant sales organizations at Oracle and SAP focused on the Retail Vertical as well as other vertical markets, Rob has also led sales teams at early and growth phase companies such as Anaplan, Reflection and Interactions. Rob is passionate about achieving rapid growth in early stage technology companies and working with organizations to drive operational efficiency and growth.

Rob is recognized in retail technology as a thought leader and subject matter expert and is a frequent speaker at Industry Events such as NRF, The World Retail Congress and Future Stores.

Rob graduated from the University of Leeds, UK and Nottingham Law School.

Simon Jones, Chief Operating Officer

Simon Jones is a Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Store Intelligence. Simon held executive level roles at ABBYY Software and International Asset Systems (IAS) over the past 10 years and has over 20 years of experience in Services, Support and Software Development.

Prior to joining Store Intelligence, Simon worked as the Vice President of Global Services at ABBYY Software leading the Professional Services, Technical Support, Training and Dev Ops functions through the transition from a regional on-premise solution company to a global organization focused on Customer Success, Cloud and the future of Robotic Process Automation.

Before joining ABBYY, Simon held various executive positions within the Logistics vertical with International Asset Systems (IAS), Synchronet Marine and MSAS Cargo (now DHL), working on software solutions to streamline the logistics industry and Customs Brokerage. Simon started his career developing Financial software before leading the European development team at Rimmel International, then part of Unilever.

Simon studied Computer Science at Leicester University and participated in the Unilever Business Education Program while at Rimmel International.

Ken Cioffi, SVP and Chief Architect

Ken Cioffi has been in the wireless communications area for over 30 years holding a number of engineering, management and executive positions. He has been in the ESL space  for 14 years, he has architected and led the development of the company’s ICs and wireless system. He was previously VP of Product Development at startup Discera where he developed the first MEMS-based clock oscillator product.

Prior to that, he was in charge of IC development at startup Tropian where he worked on a polar transmitter IC and a receiver IC servicing the cellular standards GSM, EDGE, and UMTS. He has also held positions at startup Movi7 working on mult-protocol radios where he was VP of hardware engineering and startup Wireless Access (acquired by Glenayre Corp.) where he was CTO and VP of research and Development. At Wireless Access, he was in charge of systems development, RF, analog, and digital IC design as well as all operational activity related to ICs for WAI’s line of 2-way paging products. He started his career designing ICs for wireless communications at Rockwell. Dr. Cioffi has BS, MS, and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has numerous publications and patents in the areas of circuit and system design.

David Wetle, Founder, SVP Development

David has been in the communications industry for over 30 years holding numerous technical leadership and executive positions delivering commercial networking solutions. Dave served as VP Engineering at LUMA for RF powered plasma light sources. He was VP Hardware for CPE and Base Station solutions at Soma Networks, as well as for network switches at Hammerhead Systems. Dave also held leadership positions in integrated media access, optical switching and VoIP. As a member of the ATM Forum, Dave co-authored the ATM Forum IMA specification. Dave holds a MSEE from Santa Clara University, a BSEE from San Jose State University, and earned a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University.

Eduardo Chan, Founder, SVP Software Development and Data Science

Eduardo has over 20 years of experience in professional software development delivering software solutions in several industries including ecommerce marketplaces, mechanical and aerospace, semiconductor manufacturing as well as consumer and digital health spaces. He has led software teams that deployed high-scalable cloud solutions on all the major cloud platforms.

Eduardo also has expertise in complex numerical simulations, data science as well as machine learning. Prior to joining Store Intelligence, he was the Vice President of Engineering at Striiv, leading both the software and hardware engineering teams. He led multiple cloud development projects, including a highly scalable machine learning pipeline that screens for irregular heart rhythms from real-time human sensor data obtained from Striiv’s activity trackers.

Eduardo is an adjunct professor of 2 departments, Mechanical Engineering and Applied Data Science, at San Jose State University. He is active in teaching and mentors graduate students working on their Master’s projects and theses. Eduardo holds a Ph.D. in Computational Engineering from Caltech, a M.S. in Civil Engineering and a B.S. in Physics from University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Niclas Qvist, SVP and GM Store Intelligence Europe

Niclas serves as Store Intelligence Senior Vice President and General Manager in Europe, he has responsibility for all customer-facing operations and is a key contributor to Store Intelligence’s Product and Go To Market Strategy globally.

Niclas has an international background, multi-lingual, and experience in doing business in a number of continents where he has successfully built partner networks and sales teams. With over 15 years’ experience in growing sales and marketing globally he holds deep expertise in Digital, Wireless and IT solutions for retailers. He was EVP Marketing at NASDAQ listed company Pricer for many years. Niclas has held several VP level positions, specializing in business transformation, channel management and solution selling across Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe.

He has also an entrepreneurial background where he founded and managed several companies in the retail space. Niclas Qvist graduated in year 2000 with a Master in Science, Industrial Engineering & Business Management, from Linköping University Sweden & Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers France.

Thomas Todd, SVP and GM, Americas

Tom Todd serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager with responsibility for Store Intelligence business and operations in the Americas.

Tom is a global sales and operations executive with a consistent record of building teams and operations for repeatable, predictable, and sustainable success – with an eye on positive business outcomes for his customers. From large companies SAP and Siebel to startups such as Perspecsys and Delphix, Tom and his teams have a unique ability to sell into new territories, with new products, and at the largest deal size in company history. Prior to Altierre/Store Intelligence, Tom built the successful Delphix Latin America business from scratch and hired the company’s first female sales executive who still runs the business today.

Tom graduated from Wheaton College in Illinois with a BA in Biblical Theology and has an Executive Certificate in Finance from the Kellogg School of Management in Chicago.
